As promised, here are our new team members for September – welcome Claudia & Viktor! 🙌
Claudia was born and raised in Leipzig and worked for Adidas in Bavaria for a long time before going on maternity leave. She decided to return to her hometown and luckily take on the role of Management Assistant here at Optimax! We’re so happy to have her here and it already feels like she’s been with us forever. She makes life easier for the whole team by organizing our benefits, office and business equipment, doing the accounts and supporting and advising the whole team on various requests. You can speak to Claudia in German, her mother tongue, English and Spanish.
In her spare time, Claudia spends a lot of time together with her two-year-old daughter at playgrounds and exploring nature. She’s also a world traveler and is looking forward to showing her child the world. If there’s any time over, she enjoys listening to podcasts or reading articles to educate herself. 📗
Viktor has taken on the role of System Operation Engineer, which is a similar position to a System Administrator but broader and deeper. By setting up process automation the team is able to work more productively as human assistance is reduced. He has over ten years’ experience with Linux servers, making him an expert in the field. Therefore, his mother tongue is Python. Just kidding! Well, apart from his programming skills, Viktor speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.
Originally from the Ukraine, Viktor has been living and working in Russia for the last 10 years. This year he moved to Kazakhstan before coming to Germany. In his spare time, he plays the piano and loves to go hiking and enjoy nature. One more interesting fact about him: He has a shelter cat named “Hummus”. 🐺
